Upset???

Is there any wonder my 7yr old twin boys are asking for man ure kits instead blades kits when where dishing sub standard shit like that out? They are going to be upset and disappointed next week when they discover its blades kits they've got again!!!! Birthday bash is going to be a let down in some respects,just hope the nintendo 3ds's works and takes the edge off it a tad,It's embarrassing having to explain to them why were so rubbish in their words, so got two 7yr olds losing hope and heart already,where do we go from here utd!!

I'm a bit upset I didn't back Southend at 6 to 1 when I had the chance. This debacle was staring us in the face.

I'm upset (in no particular order) at the predictable route one football, the full backs, dodgy defending, goalkeeping errors, crowd booing Long doing nothing for his confidence, manager carrying on picking Done on the left when it is clear he can't play there, uninspiring substitutes, scoreboard font that is worse than the previous one (like the squad), the poor standard of refs who miss blatant fouls and timewasting, linesman who don't know the offside rule, players numbers on shirts that I can't read, everything possible being sponsored (including the amount of injury time, what next, our dodgy defending being sponsored?), the fact that even those who are In The Know are usually wrong and the poor food on offer at the Lane. Apart from that everything is ok.

Tonight there were several instances where I just had to have a quiet chuckle to myself.
At times we were so bad it was funny.

The irony was on the odd time we played some nice stuff getting the crowd roaring with anticipation
We crossed the ball into the Kop. We couldn't even do a basic cross and keep the ball in play.

In the 2nd half we'd has a spell of putting Southend under pressure.
Their defence looked nervous and booted it out for a corner.
The Kop could sense Southend were rocking... So we made noise to encourage the team.
I don't know who took the corner but again the ball was crossed into the Kop.
We can't even take a corner and keep it in play.

There were other times when simple short passes were passed straight to their man.
I couldn't believe how bad some of the players were and we had the look of a relegation team.

Fortunately it's very early days. Football is a funny game and confidence can play a massive part.
A win in Saturday could kick start out season however Millwall were thrashed tonight so expect a backlash.

And in answer to your question I'm still very dispondant as the underlying signs are bad.
