It's not really worth transcribing really.
There is a lot of blah about fitness and team spirit.
He feels it has helped consistency and performances. Grit and resilience and things.
He is asked about Freeman and just says that Brayford is the right back. It's implied he will be moved on. Denies Kilmarnock are interested but other clubs are.
It's suggested that Higdon and Kennedy are available for other clubs and also that younger players might just be let go.
He is asked why he hasn't brought anyone in and he says he's had two six-figure sums turned down. Quality players come at a premium and are getting football at other teams.
We've got a big squad so we don't need to do anything for the sake of it because the size of the squad is so large.
He is asked about the importance of keeping his key players and says he wants to. They haven't had any contact about Che Adams.
He seems to think that Swindon will go for broke and play an open game.

My take was he will only bid for players that would go straight into the first eleven. He gives no indication whether the 6 figure bids are close. If they are miles off we can forget any signings. There is a possibility of increasing a bid and landing someone on the final day. My guess is one of the bids is for Burn. I also think we won't get him.

On Adams, I think it's probably the agent touting him around - he'll probably do that in every window, why wouldn't he if he thinks he'll get a slice of a decent fee. The downside is that I imagine Adams likes the notion of PL football and the money but isn't actually pushing for this. For that reason it will be unsettling. My guess is no one will bid for him in this window. He needs to get his head down and work out how to recover his form.

On Swindon, I do get fed up of sides being bigged up prior to coming to the Lane but they have improved dramatically. They've won 7 of their last 10 and the losses include defeats against Burton and Gillingham. We need to be careful, another home defeat will be a blow.

I was basically saying that when brayford is out of form/injured the price he apparently cost goes up when been quoted by those who moan about all things Sufc.

Exactly.

A good interviewer should (in part) be a focal point, asking the questions the supporters (but not the haters) would like answering.

Being dismissive of reasonable questions is being dismissive of supporters.

Imo a couple of the RS interviewers do a good job. Rob Staton is one, not sure who the other is.

Agree football-wise but didn't he mess us around when we first tried to sign him? I wonder if Adkins doesn't think he's committed enough? Or maybe Freeman wants regular first team football and knows he won't get it here.

I'd say we're in with a small chance with this squad, about the same odds as 5 clubs around us (for the 3rd spot via play-offs).

Not very likely, but possible. We should strengthen to shorten those odds.
