Could the "really close" one, be Hammond?

On the Leicester fans forum today

"...Apparently this is back on. Trained with Utd this morning..."

Well......looks like they were correct

All injuries can heal ,Shaw has a more serious problem than Wallace.
Hopefully this Hammond loan get us winning matches which lets everyone settle down and finds Wallace some more time

We aint gonna be able to ship him out, so time is all we can give him

I think youre right ,hopefully Hammond can do it in the short spell he is here. If he is as good as some on here seem to think he will be we have a new God. Ive never seen him either :)

If Basham and Hammond do the destroying, that should leave Baxter to face their goal, and make Done and Adams run em to death

and let Billy tap em in :)

why ,both injured ,both may recover ,different levels I know but I would say Wallace may be worth more to us than Shaw is to them.

Different levels is an under statement. That's the first thing. Secondly Shaw has proved he can get fit and stay fit for a decent spell (albeit currently has a bad injury) and doesn't have a particularly bad history with injuries.

I cant remember Wallace putting two games together since we signed him and by all accounts he had been struggling with injuries prior to joining us. Every time he gets close he breaks down again.

Completely different scenarios.

Shaw has had one injury in his career, £30 mil worth of player and destined to be Man United's left back for the next 10 years. Wallace has had about 8 in a year with us and shows no signs of letting up.
I'm sorry to say it as I think he's a fantastic player I'm close to giving up on him. I think a lot are feeling the same.

His knee looks good on the xray

I appreciate the point you're making but this is rubbish. Shaw missed most of last season with a variety of muscular issues: not dissimilar to Wallace. He was also castigated by van Gaal for the state he was in when he came back to pre-season after the World Cup. The irony is that he finally seemed to have put those soft tissue injuries behind him when he broke his leg.

I agree on Wallace by the way; it's constant with him and Adkins seemed resigned to not ever being able to play him when asked about injuries the other day.
