I’d probably cash in during January and buy a few more players so I would.

Blaster was asked to sit deeper tonight due to Vini being suspended. I didn’t think he was bad at all considering, and seems strange to call him out before others
The midfield was the problem again no mobility and so easy to break our lines
He and Peck have both struggled against better opponents

Classic example of football.

Big a young lad up beyond what he's achieved so far, then wade in when he's not reached said potential by age 20.

Load of rubbish, he’s quality on off the ball
Take the bladey bladeness glasses off
Now let’s look at this objectively he’s young he’s a talent but he’s struggling against better young players certainly the last 2 games on and off the ball

Agree to disagree on this, he’s not been to blame for any of the goals we’ve conceded and I’ve not seen him do much wrong

Whilst not our biggest concern - that is our recent tactics and our forward line - Arblaster is getting out run in MF, Leeds and Boro have exposed his inexperience. His positioning is dire at times and little give and go’s are turning him time and time again. Whilst he might look good on the ball, the other 50% of being a midfielder is lacking and we’re getting cut through.

Our MF across the board to be fair has been rubbish last two games and it’s becoming a concern.

Arblaster is the captain so is not immune to criticism.

Last night, Peck and Arblaster seem to always be within 5-10 yards of each other. I don't know if this was their instruction but they played so many short, sideways and backwards passes between themselves, most of which in areas where Boro were comfortable.

Peck rarely looked to create decent angle to collect a pass from the back four, so was easily covered off. It also meant Souttar and Anel were forced to play too many sideways passes to each other because they rarely had an option to break the lines. Boro were happy to sit off and let them do it.

For all Oli Norwood's deficiencies, he always made himself available and looked to progress the ball forwards. I don't see a similar player in our squad at the minute.

i dont think this 4231 system is working now especially against better teams i think we need to get back to 3 in midfield in a 433 set up arblaster souza and hamer when hes back in that midfield 3 and think a front 3 of rak-saki brewster and brooks
