Both of their goals scrubbed a lot of bad blood, but that didn't magically make Rhian Brewster a great footballer and it very likely won't with Tom Cannon either.

If Wilder gives him a chance against Portsmouth, then I'm all for it. Another relatively poor side and another decent chance to get on the scoresheet, build some confidence and put a run together.

If he puts in his usual level of performance, a surprisingly sharp looking Bamford looks ready to step in and take his place. That's that until he earns another opportunity.

I'm sorry but I'm not a cannon fan zero composure and awareness, his 3 goals have been 2 head down blasts and a deflection, trying to shoot through players, when do you see him open up his body to place it in the corner? 100% agree with you. The ball doesn't just drop to the likes of Billy Sharp, he's always moving, finding space, anticipating.

Cannon has two good feet and can get a decent shot off. If he could learn a bit of the above he could be quite deadly but he seems to lack football intelligence.

Campbell, Cannon and Ings are just not consistent enough. If that means sending out Cannon on loan, I'd do it.
