Always said I rated Cannon (cough cough deletes posts) when you think he was £10million less than a Brewster memory goal at the sty

I was delighted he scored after missing that one on one with the goalie. Hope it gives him confidence and he kicks on. If he'd missed the second chance we would never have heard the end of itSo pleased for him and what a goal![]()
Start him against Portsmouth. Give him a chance to show us what he can do and build up his confidence.
Tom Cannon has contributed 2 goals and 1 assist in those 1336 minutes.
If he reverts to type we can't just keep persisting indefinitely like we did with Brewster after his derby winner.
He were oreyt tonight apart from that one that whizzed across the box, went straight through him and hit their defender
Its astonishing that a bloke who until he joined us thrived on a 2 up front has, since he joined us, looked better when played as part of a 2 up front.Very peculiar how when he comes on as a substitute and doesn't score the thread is updated instantly.
When he scores there's no update at all.
Call me suspicious if you want but it seems like a certain poster was trying to make a scapegoat out of this young man.
Hmmmm.

I didn't see the match so can't comment on his performance
Thought he's looked better lately but one moment that stood out was when seriki beat his man and pulled it back near post and cannon was stood statuesque on the edge of the box
A striker or a score of goals should be anticipating that ball coming in but he is just so half hearted
I like Tom.
I'd still be looking to bring in another striker in January. In the 1646 minutes Tom Cannon has been on the pitch for us since he joined in January 2025, we've collectively scored 22 goals. That's 1 goal per 74.8 minutes.
In that same time period we have collectively conceded 27 goals (1 per 61 mins).
Blades Goal Difference with Cannon on the pitch = -5
Tom Cannon has contributed 3 goals and 1 assist in those 1646 minutes.
Bad miss today, should have been on target at least.
