Not enough goals from midfield to consider promotion. A decent CB,
and a goal scoring CF would be a start but need some goals from midfield and can't see it with those four.
 
I doubt we will be in for a central midfielder as I think Adkins is happy with his options there.

A CB and a pacey winger have to be the priorities, arguably both positions are of equal importance IMO as it's what the team is lacking.

He may have improved of late, but the thought of having Woolford in the team for the remainder of the season makes me want to cry.

Just keeping his options open. Things can change in football quite quickly and if he ends up back here it wouldn't help him if we knew he'd rather be at Pompey. Especially when he didn't close defenders down or missed a sitter.

We might be able to get Jordan Stewart in on loan.

I think Adams will come back in shortly. Coutts and Brayford has balance down the right, but the left is short. Jay 'Assists' McEverley and Adams could be quite fluent

I don't know about anyone else but the thought of a left hand side of JM and CA worries the hell out of me !

Just out of interest, who was playing left back when Adams had his golden spell at the beginning of the season?

EDIT - When we won 3 out of 4 at the beginning of the season with McEverley and ADams

You would think that this will be in our favour but no doubt we'll find a way of messing it up.

This may also be why a good clear out in the summer will help us.

The big question is where do youngsters get their experience, do Youth loans continue ?

Dont know. I remember MobileBlade saying that this season will be the last for Emergency Loans in the FL

That is correct. The 6 month and season long loans (which include Youth Loans) will continue. It is the one month to 93 day loans that will no longer be permissible after this season.
 



We couldn't hold player X back, but we've got 3- 4 calls in when the loan window opens. We're constantly working to improve what we've got
