Olly Williams paid £13,000 at the breeze up sales last week for a colt by Society Rock, could that be the teams horse?

If it is that one, the dam is Patrimony who has had two winning siblings to this potential Blade Hoss. Society Rock was a sprinter so I would guess they will be looking at getting him started in some moderate maiden races this year. Overall profile isn't that encouraging, the horses that impressed at the breeze ups will have cost a lot more than £13k, but you never know!

Appreciate that but this trainer is a very good, promising up and coming trainer who will try his upmost with the few horses he has to become a well known trainer.

I don't doubt it. The price tag doesn't dictate how the horse will go on. Group winners have cost less! I look forward to seeing how he gets on. Even if he's not the greatest they will probably run him in three races to get a low mark from the handicapper and try and clean up in the 2yo handicaps. Hope it goes well and can't wait to see what they call him!

for younger Blades fans we could call the horse "Captain Blade", but for us oldies, I would say it should be "Bertie Blade"

The broodmare sire was also group 1 winning sprinter, speed both sides of pedigree. Unlikely its the next Black Caviar, but never know?????

If only we could breed United players together like Racehorses

Anyone who is interested in a mug punt today -

Captain Sharpe 2:15 Kelso

It a wank horse but the name is spot on (besides the 'e')

Disagree that it's "wank", ran well enough last time and is in with a shout.

Touch Of Steel runs in the same race. Got to be worth a small reverse forecast for fun.

How about Tufty Knill?

Actually, it sounds a bit suggestive now I've written it.

Hello darling, can I have a ride on your Tufty Knill?!

Magic
