United in London

Not usually a happy place for United, we've won all three of our away games in London this season, a vast improvement on last season when we failed to win any of our four games in the capital.
And one other 'statto fact', we have won four games in London under Wilder, three of them 3-2 (at AFC Wimbledon, Millwall and Brentford).

Just wait until we meet Chelsea, Spurs, and Arsenal, not to mention the various other clubs scattered across London. Collecting points at that level will be the real test, should prove interesting. None of which is to suggest that winning against the teams mentioned in 1973's post has been a doddle, because it hasn't. Away wins are meant to be the icing on the cake, so well done CW and the boys for their efforts. We're still in the promotion mix, despite our form not always being as we'd like. Although it would be preferable to wrap games up and impose ourselves until the final whistle, we've stepped up a division and are having to learn a few tough lessons. I won't linger on the various points that have impacted on our form and recruitment, but personally I can't stress just how well we've done until now.

On my 31st birthday we played Charlton away and won 3-0
On my 42nd birthday Brentford away - won 3-2
