Auld enemy clash at the Lane
Should be a bit of cash in the coffers. Hopefully it'll be a Premiership ground by then too.
International football is again coming to Bramall Lane with The FA announcing Sheffield United - plus Bradford City and Doncaster Rovers - as host venues for the U19 European Championship Elite Qualifying tournament this May.
England, managed by ex United coach, Brian Eastick, has been drawn against Slovakia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and the auld enemy, Scotland, with the group winners qualifying for the European Championships in Ukraine this July.
The Blades developing reputation as an International venue continues, following the success of the England U21 fixture late last year, and it has been chosen to host the pick of the matches when England take on Scotland in what could be the decider on 1 June.
It will be the Scots' second game at Bramall Lane - they face Slovakia earlier in the tournament - and the clash of the big two is expected to attract a large crowd.
Blades defender Kyle Walker has already made his International debut at U19 level this season and will hope to feature, alongside a host of up and coming names including Manchester United's Daniel Welbeck and Everton youngsters, Jack Rodwell and Daniel Gosling.
