Wasn't that Jeff Johnson?

Definitely Jeff King as I remember it .

He gave the distinct impression of wanting to break Sabella's leg and very nearly succeeded with one 'tackle' in front of the North Stand which I remember to this day.

Piggy thug.

I did think it was Johnson who went straight through him very early on.

Jeff Johnson man marked Sabella throughout the game

Well done Rodley and tincan .

Responded to the brief. Only two who did! :)

Come on lads. Right off the top of your mind - 5 hardest battlers.

According to Steve Thompson Roger Neilson was a very hard guy who'd been in the army and Fjørtoft was the exact opposite.

Tony kenworthy ,never shirked a challenge ,played while injured ,paid for his own treatment ,was hard as nails. Also never shirked responsibility and would have scored the penalty which sent us to the bottom league for the only time ever , if our bottleless manager hadnt been such a bell end. Great captain ,great player and my favourite 'battler'.
