I expect you were disappointed we didn't concede the '3 or 4' as you predicted and what better way to justify it than by hammering the keeper that kept a clean sheet.

Still keep up the player hate, it's all about opinions. :)

Are you related to George Long?

Conditions were tricky but cant recall ball sticking with Long all day till he caught a few near the end. Every ball seemed to be juggled or flapped out. The shot he turned round I still felt he could have thrown his hat on but others were more behind it so maybe it did move. I did not think he was convincing again but even with his less than commanding play; he has still been better than Howard I feel. At least he saves the occasional long shot; Howard seems to rarely do that.

I was quite shocked at Billy's performance today even though he has not been on form. Struggling to remember anything he did right and was our worst player. As to the reasons why, well I think that has been explained elsewhere. Hoping it's just a blip.
Billy was on the next table to us in the Mogul Rooms last night ,he will think Im stalking him. Like I said before his Mrs is ready to drop and going on their past experiences maybe this is paying on his mind ? Not excusing him ,but hes a good footballer and very off form at the moment.

This is the day we regain some pride by only conceding 3 instead of 4

Are you related to god?

Still reckon you will be gutted we didn't concede the 3 or 4 that would have made your weekend.

Look Jehovah, what on earth are you playing at!

I try to get all wound up and have a go at you and then you spoil it all by giving my post a 'like' and i'm immediately not annoyed any more!!! :eek:

If only life was so simple!

My thoughts were:

This was a pretty dire performance overall;
Brayford, Done and Coutts were our best players;
Hammond again looked slow and off the pace;
We missed Baxter's creativity;
Che deserved his red card;
Done played well in his natural positon (there's a novelty, players in natural positions);
McEverley got away with it - a couple of bad errors made by him but Oldham didnt take advantage.

Overall it was a tedious, turgid performance, one thing this current team can do consistently well is in managing NOT to get you out of your seat.

The play is slow & utterly predictable, the tactics are confusing & his team selections random - each week brings 3-5 changes.

Overall we are no better than 12 months ago even with the introduction of several higher profile & more expensive players.

Poor & thoroughly entangled in the Wilderness.
