John Egan's 2nd half performance was nothing short of wonderful. He put the entire club on his back and carried it towards the Premier League.

It seemed like there was a moment when he thought "the lads aren't playing well, the crowd aren't helping...fuck it, I'll win it for us."

I don't believe in 10/10 but, in the 2nd half at least, he was worth nothing less than that.

What a man.

All my mates have told me my Egan mark was ridiculous

They may be right - I have reflected and I marked him too low as he was really good

I therefore upgrade him to 8/10 and my man of the match just ahead of Baldock. He did carry us at times.

I get things wrong (often!) but acknowledge 7/10 was way too harsh.

Glad I wasn’t the only one impressed with Sharp. Thought he lead the line brilliantly and really unsettled their defence.

Fleck was in because McAtee had a knock. Heckingbottom explained in the post match press conference.

So why not play Norwood and Doyle then? It worked well enough before, Fleck is a busted flush I'm afraid.
