I like the first two lines after that it goes up it's own arse. Good attempt though.

We played well.

My concern is the smooth silky passing style is missing. Passes are often reaching our players but they are not quite in the right positioin. This leads to the receiver requiring two touches to bring it under control.

It leads to a jilted style of possession. Didzy seems to be the exception.

Against a Championship side we can get away with it. In the Premier league we need to improve.

We were awful...I couldn't believe how poor they were and expected much more....tin hat on here but it was a game for Norwood....instead we got Lundstram sitting deep and square balling it to the nearest player...if ever someone was playing it safe with a move on his mind....

Seriously our shooting is terrible 13 shots and only 4 on target, I love the guy but if McGoldrick could hit the target he would have been in the Kane / Vardy League , Burke’s the same fast as fuck but cannot hit the target , i would have them on shooting practice for the next month with Billy Sharp teaching them .

For me our problem particularly in first half is we are just too slow. By the time we get the ball to the final third the opposition have all their players back and in formation. We break forward then someone with the ball stops and passes it sideways or backwards. We have to up the pace. That's what most EPL teams do and have pace. It's not so much very fast runners( though that helps) but more speed of thought and delivery.
The positive thing about the game for me was that i felt we comfortably out played one of the better teams in the Championship which gives me hope for next year.

your right we give teams chance to get back and organised by being too slow and attempting too many passes instead of having a crack from the edge of the area
