Unconvincing

STEP AWAY FROM THE PORK! NOTHING TO SEE HERE!!

Only a MASSIVE PIG would criticise a club performing as well as ours.

if you win 1-0 every week you get promoted simple as.
1-0 every week is 3 points a week.

3*52=156 points. Sheffield United win the league by miles, world hunger is solved and Michal Jackson comes back as a black, well rounded individual ready to put a new album out

Unconvincing? Maybe. Getting through the first round of the cup is always a struggle. I'll take that given our recent form.

We played against a non league side and looked unconvincing all over the pitch in all honesty, it looked like some players could only just probably get into the Worcester team. Why won't anyone shoot at this club from outside the box? Why don't we take risks?

It was a good result but against better opposition that wouldn't have been anywhere near a 3-0 win.

Disagree about. Coutts and Hammond. Thought coutts played well and Hammond had his best game since joining

We played Wocester City and won, kept a clean sheet, nothing to get excited about with that I agree.

Ditto. Thought Coutts was excellent, always wanting the ball, always moving & finding space, neat passing, kept things ticking over nicely. Hammond wasn't great, but he was encouragingly aggressive.

We've had plenty to moan about this season so far, but can't really see the point about griping about today at all. It was entertaining, we won. Great.

I didn't go. I've just watched the highlights. There was some passages of quick, fast, precise passing that, had it been Arsenal, everyone would have been purring about for weeks. If we do a few of those per game, I'll happily clap along to the remaining 89 minutes of unconvincingness.

My posts may not be what fans like to hear, but rarely are they not correct.

Thing is, you never seem outraged at being called a pig fan? You never say "I may not agree with you all, but I am not a grunter from the big blue rust bucket at swillsborough, the sty, I could never wear the scummy blue and white, which is only fit for cleaning toilets", or something like that.

To me, and just about any other Blades fan I know, being called S6 pig scum is the first thing you deny, to anyone, anywhere,

Up the Blades.....

I thought it was a professional performance from a team that, like the fans, couldn't really be arsed with the game. Yes it wasn't a 6-0 walk in the park but seriously - was it ever in doubt, really?

I was just bored.

In the end a comfortable win from a potential banana skin. Turgid first half, pretty much a copy of what we have been witnessing all season. Second half much better, should have been a bigger scoreline but for some bad luck, good goalkeeping and wretched finishing. MOM JCR, honourable mentions to Freeman, Bash, Hammond (as someone else mentioned probably his best game for us), Baxter and Scougs who looked lively. As we know though from these players form is temporary, sure they will be back to their normal patchy standards against the next league opponents.

Totally dominated from start to finish, couldnt have done anymore, only the most negative of human being would criticise the performance.

Nice touch by your players at the end to wait for our players to come off and stuff and thanks for your stewards welcoming us in on the coaches :)

well we know what its like to be you (underdogs) as i was saying pre match that we're used to being the underdogs the last few yrs after games v villa, fulham, hull. forest southampton & spurs. so to be the favourites was strange & you gave a great effort brilliant support. nice to have chat to some of you in around the chip shop while we were having lunch

Thanks :) i was miffed when the 2nd went in and quite a few of our 'come out of the woodwork' supporters decided to up sticks and leave instead of staying to applaud the players Cup run effort at the final whistle, 'plastic' and 'armchair glory seekers' springs to mind there.

Funny because i was saying that after the cracking Cup runs youve had in recent times that 'the hunter could become the hunted' but alas not, so in the grand pecking order of things you probably will get your underdogs tag back come the 3rd round.

I will defend Worcesters players fitness levels as i dont think we got so much tired as just deflated after the 2nd goal went in, i hark back to last season where we went toe to toe vs Scunny for 120 minutes and not one of our players went down with cramp, yes we're part timers but the gap between league 1 and the top echelons of non league has narrowed a bit in my opinion looking at some of the upsets today.

Hi all..well, you got the job done in the end and it was fairly comfortable, we didnt cope very well with Campbell-Ryce all game to be honest altho i felt we gave you too much space as well which surprised me a bit. We did show in glimpses some of what we managed to do in last years run, pressing the ball and zipping a few passes around, missing Geddes and Hughes was a huge loss for us to bridge the gap they left.

Nice touch by your players at the end to wait for our players to come off and stuff and thanks for your stewards welcoming us in on the coaches :)
hey, no point posting it twice, you'll only get one set of likes from this lot ;)

Agree, a fantastic 3-0 win, don't know what all the fuss was about? After this outstanding performance me thinks we will definitely win the league now! Can't see us losing another game all season.

We haven't got past the 2nd round yet. :D

Could have been the new pitch, Jonny. In the summer we 'invested' in a £1m Desso pitch. So we'd be ready for Wembley. :D

yawwwwnnnnnnnn same old, same old

Haven't you learnt yet,

If we don't win it's because we're crap

If we do win it's only because the opposition were crap.

No point in 5 pages of debate about it

I reckon we should have a full on meltdown due to only winning 3-0 o_O

It was fine, would have been nice to see a free flowing bulldozing, but it's a win, job done and three different goalscorers.

Hey, when you want to be unhappy even a victory can be turned to feel like a defeat. Its the cup, we won, move on.
