Blackwell is such a liar...

Honestly, he does this every week, does he think all the other managers in this league are thick?

'Yeah Seth the entire squad is out with injuries until 2018 so we'll be playing the junior girls side against Newcastle next Tuesday'

then on the day: Surprise!

Everytime a player gets injured divide Blackwell's predicted time out by 4 and you'll be about right ;)

Yeah but I bet he had you fooled again:rolleyes:

So with the same starting line-up we will see if it was us that was good on Saturday or as many suspected, City were awful........

20 minutes in and 0-1 down and all Forest, hmmmmmmmm

I agree, managers should be forced to post a team-sheet to the opposition at least a week in advance.

I didn't see anyone predicting this before it happened. Most people seemed to be of the view that it was a cynical ploy to provide an excuse for a return to long-ball football. No doubt if that had happened, there would have been people saying how predictable it was.

The fact is, people on this forum, who know Blackwell's ways better than other managers are likely to, were fooled.

As it happens, I think the way we played against Bristol City was too open to work away from home against a team as good as Forest. I thought Blackwell would think so too...

Not having a dig at Blackwell, just think it's funny how often he does it, either intentionally or not.

Unchanged team sheet but change in tactics back to hhhooooffff bbbaaaallll

Except for they weren't. Infact at times, I think we tried to over-play it and we'd have been better off playing the percentages or having a speculative effort or two.

It normally does :)

I'm not saying we played fantastically, but we didn't just hoof it at every opportunity by any stretch of the imagination.

Agreed. I said to my mate with a few minutes left to go 'How come they never hoof it when you want them to?'

The build ups to both our goals against Bristol C were hoofs- Bartley and Bunn.

No they were'nt. The first was a great pass from Nosworthy to Camara who controlled it skillfully before smashing it into the top corner. The second was a pinpoint pass to the near post by Ward for the big lad to guide in. At least thats how I saw it ;)
