Kevin Blackwell is taking the first training session after signing a highly rated Ukrainian striker. Firstly he picks up a football and says “ball”.
Next he points to the goal and says “goal”.
He then motions the action of a kick “kick”, and then says “kick, ball, goal… GOOOOOAL!” and jumps and cheers.
The young Ukrainian says to Blackwell “Boss, I’ve been here in England a few years, I speak fluent English, and quite frankly I find that a bit patronising”
To which Blackwell replies “What the fuck are you on about, I was talking to Ched!”
