Be nice if one of the young strikers can make a mark today, we might need one this weekend as an option!?

Is someone in the set-up really superstitious? Why is Dewhurst wearing 31 rather than 13?

Good to see Moore back...but he's got a job on displacing Blackman.

Presuming they're playing 3-4-1-2 like the first team there's some experimentation going on down that left side.

Moore
Heneghan Graham RND
Bennett Doherty Gilmour Thomas
Carruthers
Parkhouse Hallam

Interesting to see Ben Heneghan is captain. I think we'll see a bit of this lad as the season progresses.

Carruthers subbed at 65 mins.
Not injured.
In the reshuffle, Thomas goes in the hole behind Parkhouse.

Nowhere near at the moment, Wilder said he needs work, and today showed that.
Looks stylish on the ball, but gets dragged into areas he shouldn`t be in, a lot to learn.

Slater definite red, Moore the only plus point today.

We had lots of position but Millwall had the cutting edge. 1 - 0 flattered us They took us apart and the woodwork and Moore kept it at a reasonable score although if Hallam had taken a great chance at the restart it might have made it a different game
One good thing Moore is fit and playing well and Heneghan looks decent in everything except his distribution

Not bad although Heneghan played on the left with Graham on the right

Some comments on how Moore, Heneghan, Thomas & Carruthers shaped up
Millwall's goal went in off the post.
And, they've hit the woodwork another four times.
Tumbling saves, bullet headers, surging runs.
And Oaty McOatface
My Blog report from a disappointing afts at the U23s.

Was only a matter of time before Slater got sent off due to the way he plays, that said you can't take it away from his game or he wouldn't be the player he is, as for the young strikers someone please tell me what Parhouse is all about cos I just don't see it when I watch him

Good report as always although your final paragraph summed the game up well. I've been saying for ages that the team have a pacing issue. I hope that is an age thing but I'm not sure. Moore and Heneghan look good but my man Hallam should have scored, not like him to miss
