Should be a good match against a really productive academy system at palace.
I’m expecting a battering. Most of our decent u21s have gone out on loan.

You never know if we lose we lose it’ll be useful for those lads on the fringe of the first team environment to play a higher level of competition the likes of Brooks, Maguire, Peck and Sachdev.

Peck’s gone to Oldham. Could you please punctuate your posts so I don’t have to read them three times to understand them?

If he's gone on a youth loan then they can still play for our U21s if we wish. That's as I understand it, though you'd think that might be disruptive to bedding in at his loan club.

Yeah, I think that works better with the part time clubs. I assume Oldham are full time but I could be wrong. I’d be surprised if any of the loan players played but not hugely surprised. I’m not concerned, they’ll learn more playing men’s football.

Ahhhh forgot about that. Sorry regards the punctuation it’s something I have to make a conscious effort to do when writing either academically or professionally it’s never innately clicked for me. I forget about it when writing on here as I’m normally dashing off posts on the go.

I’m not having a dig, it’s just that sometimes sentences flow together and become a bit difficult to follow. If you’d got nowt interesting to say, I’d just ignore you.

Not taken as a dig Bush. Just explaining why the punctuation isn’t great it’s not intentional.

I note your best ever match was TCs debut. That was my very first match at the age of 11 sat in the John street wing stand.
let’s hope Peck turns out to be as good a player
We were stood in the Middle of the Kop. Electric atmosphere that night. I will never forget it. That Spurs side was full of international players. 👍

That looks like a strong side, isn’t it?

Andre Brooks and Owen Hampson are two players I will be watching over any tonight.

Brooks is obviously pushing himself into the first team reckoning, earning himself many appearance on the bench this season and a late cameo against Burnley. For those who don’t know much of him, he’s pacey, is fantastic in possession and loves to take on players. I’m hoping to see him really come of age this year!

Owen Hampson is a raw midfielder. He’s not the tallest but he likes to get himself into the box and knows where the onion bag is as well. He came from Manchester United and is part of the Welsh schoolboy set up…. He is only 17 I think but is stand out at that level, hence the promotion into the older squad. Perhaps a lot to learn before forcing himself into first team plans, but his current development path would see him nearer before too long.

Number 3 looks good

Jili Buyabu?…. Has as big a point as anyone to prove tonight. Believe he was released by Palace before heading to Hornchurch where we snapped him up…. He is hugely Rated… we were one of half a dozen scouts watching him, including Fulham, Chelsea, Forest and Sunderland.

He does look very good, quick and skillful.

It is noticeable in the 1st half hour how much physically stronger Palace are and they receive the ball, across the body or with a bit of shape to make some space. Are we a much younger team?
