No Diego in the squad today? I have heard Clough isn't happy with his recent attitude......anyone know anymore?

I am not sure Ross, however there is something in it. I can't remember much about Saturday night, however I had the same conversation with someone. Also, he may be struggling with a few niggles so I don't think you're going to see much of him this season, either in the 1st team or reserves.

Heard the opposite myself. Clough has told him to forget this season and concentrate on having a good pre-season and get ready for more action next Gently does it back from a bad one is what I hear and the only thing they aren't happy with is maybe him pushing a bit too hard (hence the injury last week).

I think it's a mix of him getting frustrated because he wants to push on and Cloughie saying no point in pushing to get in this season, get fully fit and push for a place next season.

I have heard there is a little tension but hopefully all interested parties in his career agree with the Clough approach.

Could considerably add to the excitement for next season

Finished 4-1 the other 2goals coming in the second half, from Coustrain and Cockerline.

Two trialists Kevin Stewart and Fraser Fyvie both did ok.

Diego is injured , word is they don't want to push him to hard to soon after a serious injury.

Stewart is a full back from Tottenham and Fyvie is a central midfielder, whose description seems a bit similar to Scougall's.

I like today's U21 line up, lots of interesting player types and good to see them finishing the season strongly.

Just asked a Spurs mate of mine, who worked at WHL last season, about Stewart - he saw quite a few academy/reserve games and first team training.

"A decent player, slight but got potential to grow - he's 18/19. Right back probably best position until he fills out. Good on the ball, should be a CB. Quiet. Very decent on the ball. Trained with the first team at Spurs a fair bit to be fair. Probably not yet tall or strong enough for the middle. But he's young and about 6ft. Probably could become a Championship player."

Fraser Fyvie another scot. Highly rated he has captained Scotland at various youth levels I believe. Played for Yeovil and Shrewsbury this season on loan. Haven't seen much of him but he played holding mid against us when we played Shrewsbury I think.

Fraser Fyvie was a very promising young player at aberdeen and went to wigan if i'm not mistaken.

He's older than your mate thinks, he's 21 in September apparently. So I think he needs to be about ready to step up otherwise we should look at our youngsters trying to break through.

Interesting. A make-or-break time for him then - attribute wise he sounds not too dissimilar to what was described for McGinty then before we signed him...

McGinty's a shit apparently - one of my friends went to school with him.

Thanks Dave
