No Diego in the squad today? I have heard Clough isn't happy with his recent attitude......anyone know anymore?
Heard the opposite myself. Clough has told him to forget this season and concentrate on having a good pre-season and get ready for more action next Gently does it back from a bad one is what I hear and the only thing they aren't happy with is maybe him pushing a bit too hard (hence the injury last week).
He's older than your mate thinks, he's 21 in September apparently. So I think he needs to be about ready to step up otherwise we should look at our youngsters trying to break through.Just asked a Spurs mate of mine, who worked at WHL last season, about Stewart - he saw quite a few academy/reserve games and first team training.
"A decent player, slight but got potential to grow - he's 18/19. Right back probably best position until he fills out. Good on the ball, should be a CB. Quiet. Very decent on the ball. Trained with the first team at Spurs a fair bit to be fair. Probably not yet tall or strong enough for the middle. But he's young and about 6ft. Probably could become a Championship player."

Interesting. A make-or-break time for him then - attribute wise he sounds not too dissimilar to what was described for McGinty then before we signed him...
