Gary StevensNot sure if this has happened before , but on Saturday two players with the same name (but different spelling) come face to face at Bramall Lane. There's only one Tyrese Campbell (sort of).
There's only one super Kevin Campbell.Your post prompted me to look up Tyreece Campbell and this actually led me to an article about Kevin Campbell - and his untimely death. It's an interesting but sad read - I didn't know (or more likely had forgotten) the circumstances of his death:

There was two, both played for England and yes at the same time '86 World Cup IIRC Everton and Spurs. There was an Everton Gary Stevens I remember
Of course, how could I forget the Spurs Gary Stevens. I think over time they've morphed into one player in my mind! There was two, both played for England and yes at the same time '86 World Cup IIRC Everton and Spurs.

To be honest all the Ben Davies' are a bit of a blurOn a serious note there are loads with the same name but not sure how many have faced each other , I'm pretty sure both us and Wednesday had a Paul Williams around the same times 1990 ours was a defender they had a striker, Paul Robinson played at the back for West brom and also in goal for England, Leeds and spurs (not the same player) and we have had 2 Ben Davies, and spurs have still got one, so I'm pretty sure the Paul Robinsons and Ben Davies will have come up against each other before
We going to be singing "there's only one Tyrese Campbell"?
Even more doughnutsIt still works with 'there's only two Tyrese Campbells' though. Unless, a third one turns up of course in which case we would need a rethink. If the unthinkable were to happen I'll bring the black coffee and doughnuts and we can work in sweat stained shirts into the night until we come up with an alternative.
My writer avatar isn't an accident, you know?
And Fred Smith in the early 1950s. Fred E. was known as big Fred, Fred A. was little Fred.We had two Jake Wrights at the same time.
