A few years ago I worked as a sheep catcher on an Australian sheep farm as part of a year off. I had to provide sheep for Kiwi shearers. Good lads but wouldn't describe them as humble or well mannered!

I met some kiwis this year who absolutely didn't have the soft tone to their voice. Turns out. Born here. Made sense.

Ive only just found out he's been getting homophobic abuse online, that's already heartbreaking.
He's only done one interview and he came across so likeable. Really grounded, polite, well spoken and family orientated. It goes without saying that I don't care what his sexual preference is, why the hell has that got anything to do with his football?
But if anyone has any issue with him playing for us because of it, tell them to come and see me
