I think “The Moose” is potentially one of the best central strikers we’ve had, and I’m not exaggerating. He may not score as many as Edwards or Billy, but he’s one of the few we’ve had with so much pace and power. I also love the way he will run with the ball directly at the opposition defence. Something I can’t remember from many of our central strikers. Been watching since the late 60’s and he’s already one of my favourites.

The bloke is top class. When Wilder talks about players character and having the right sort of mindset to be part of this squad, this is what he means. He wants players that connect with the fans like this.

He took a while to warm to. For the first few games, he got a lot of stick. I remember a game away at Preston (on the plastic pitch) where people were really moaning about it. It all changed at Mansfield away in the snow.

I also get the feeling that , in return , he has gained great encouragement and confidence from the work done by CW / AK etc. and the terrific support from the fans and is loving being part of the Blades family .

Out of the players we shelled out money for this summer, Mousset was the one I was most sceptical about but the one that has slotted in seamlessly the most. It feels like he has already been here a lot longer than a few months and it seems like he has been one of the few players that hit it off with the fan base immediately.

Steve Kabba I think we fell in love with him that night he played for Grimsby.
