Firstly, and most importantly I must tell my missus that I love her more. The Paramo jacket she got me for Christmas was absolutely brilliant as I walked from the station to the ground. It kept the rain and cold out when combined with a flat cap. For those that don't know, Paramo is excellent and very untrendy with no large labels and she said "it'll keep you warm at the football" (at what age do wives start to sound like your Mum/Gran?)
Secondly, not to give up on the second love of my life. Having travelled from Kent I left at two nil down. I saw no goals coming, a tired side, mistakes being made left right and centre, the rain had stopped, I'd had enough of hearing their stupid drum ( fans with drums means clubs with no atmosphere) and the delights of the Wigan Central pub under the station won. Lesson is that I must try harder next time to tolerate and stay loyal. I must resist the lures of the ale house and I must trust in my Blades to come good, no matter how hard it is...
Bring on Colchester and the Portersaurus...I promise to stay til the end no matter what occurs and how tempting 'The Odd One Out' on Mersea Road is!
UTB and sorry lads.
