skybet and betvictor still got us as favourites for some reason.I can't believe his name was even linked with us.
You wouldn't answer like that if you hadn't made enquiries.
You'd say something like "The rumours are false" or "There's nothing in them"
Not "I doubt somebody that good would drop to our level"
you've got a point there actually MB, why not just say it's false rumours.
Because its Nigel Adkins, why use 3 words to succinctly answer a question, far better to talk for several minutes and confuse the hell out of everyone. It's the strategy moving forwards.

Even if we are contacting players of his caliber this is a good sign
Those twitter rumours may well have got the wrong Sheffield club
Strongly linked to the pigs on a season long loan. All over Pork Talk and in this mornings Sun
No chance Hooper dropping to L1
We are not an attrective proposition having been languishing in this shit league for 4 seasons and counting.

Gary Hooper: Sheffield Wednesday sign Norwich striker
Sheffield Wednesday have signed Norwich City striker Gary Hooper on loan until 17 January.
The 27-year-old former Celtic forward has only featured twice for the Canaries this season.
He scored 12 goals in 34 appearances last season as Norwich won promotion back to the Premier League at the first attempt via the play-offs.
Hooper is unable to play for Wednesday in their League Cup fourth round tie against Arsenal on Tuesday.
He is likely to make his debut for Wednesday in Saturday's home game against Nottingham Forest.
Carlos Carvalhal's side are currently unbeaten in eight games and sit four points outside the play-off places.
Wonder if they gave in on the Exec Box.Signed for the dirty lot over in S6 on loan.
Seems they end up going after everyone we are linked with. Either that or the original sources linking him with us can't tell the difference between the words Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday.

Not seen him play for a while, but when his name was linked with us, his goals on youtube looked pretty good.
