Did we really think there wouldn't be any? Remember the first promotion season to the Prem under Wilder we lost 3/2 I think at home to Millwall in one of the final few home games and it was tight between us and Leeds at the time. We are still in prime position. We surpassed my expectations at the Sty and against Coventry. Today was a poor result. But look at Leeds. Their recent form has been woeful. Now is not the time for capitulation!

I'm absolutely gutted at the result after celebrating Leeds dropping points once again before we kicked off.

Trying to find a positive perspective, one thing we can say this season about this team is that we tend to bounce back well. If we go on another good run when there's only 6 games remaining, we may get over the line.

No two ways about it though, this was a big one and we haven't capitalised.

Millwall gave us a squeaky bum time last promotion under Wilder, let's hope they don't manage it this time.

Yes, that game crossed my mind when I saw Millwall at home up next. We need 4 points out of the next two I think. Plymouth away is tricky. But 3 points on Tuesday are essential. That said it's well within our ability. No need to panic just yet.

It was Bristol City, we drew 1 all with Millwall after Garyoke announced the match winner Madine was being subbed

I find the reaction to it understandable in some ways, but bonkers in others.

That season we went up, the game against Leeds felt huge. “Basham’s arriving” has been immortalised. But we lost the next game and before long Leeds were about four points clear with around the same number of matches remaining (ish - I’m a bit pissed and don’t have perfect memory). Anyone thinking we’d have an easy ride of victories to promotion, or that we’d play like we did against Coventry every game, was massively mistaken.

The perspective you need to have is that this is the good stuff. Chasing automatic promotion to the Premier League with six games to go. It doesn’t feel like it but most fans would kill for this. It doesn’t stop myself sh*tting it or being gutted when we lose. But it’s true.

Almost a copy and paste from my post!

I think the overarching feeing for me today was one of massive frustration.

I know this happens, it’s football and I’m over it now, but after wondering around the park with the last 30 mins of the Leeds game on, coming home happy as fuck, with Friday’s performance in mind, I then proceed to watch a toothless display against wank opposition.

Very disappointing result today.

I genuinely thought we could take 12 points from the next 4 games. Oxford (A), Millwall (H), Plymouth (A) and Cardiff (H).

Thought 12 points would see Leeds melt and the Burnley game would be the title decider.

As an earlier posted said, we will have to do it the hard way now.

I can see Leeds getting beaten at Middlesbrough who are in a good run of firm and seems to have the Hex on Leeds. If we can beat Millwall, then grind out a result at Plymouth, we will be well set for Easter.

I've always had Burnley down to win it, with us as Runners up, and big bollox Leeds a distant third.

Let's see.

Wrote this after Oxford result before the Millwall game. However, there will be more drama yet I feel. Leeds or Burnley will drop points. The question is will we capitalise on that? Burnley travel to Watford Friday. If they lose, we beat Cardiff then the Easter Monday game. Win that and we'd be above them. Unlikely, but possible.

What have you seen in the last 3 games that suggests we beat Cardiff?

The problem is now our body language we wee need to make a statement Friday

Incorrect, we blew our chance to make a statement. Leeds and Burnley will no longer be worried about us.
