I thought some of the above comments were a bit harsh but Shield seems to think that Fleck was replaced by Scougall when surely it would have been Coutts playing in his position wasn't it?

A poor mistake for somebody who has been to every match for years and gets paid for doing it?

Maybe I'm wrong and Coutts played wide instead of Done? Did he? I wasn't paid to go myself so didn't.

Johnston Press are indeed on the brink. The Star will either be put up for sale or be forced to make more big cuts. They may end up with one full time sports journo covering all the region's teams. At least the Blades have one dedicated sports journo at the moment.

In my opinion the Star is far less attractive these days because of all the generic features that appear in other JP publications, as well as the pages of "Retro" pics. It needs more local news - that's what people buy it for.
