As the title says, I like the look of this lad and he has impressed me in both of the games I have been to north of the border. Pacey, tricky and intelligent and looks like he's enjoying it and has a point to prove.

Adds something to the team that we have been missing, looks like he wants to get on the ball and make things happen. Has a good eye for a pass and likes a shot on sight.

Great to see a player want a chance, lets hope he gets it and grabs it!

And 100% free, can't fault it!

As I've said elsewhere, he has the attributes we need, but I've seen him fade in each match... definitely worth an extended look, but you know my record on tipping trialists/youngsters :D

If he is 100% free (and I'm guessing he will want paying) then its a miracle.

Its very rare that we sign triallists....

Would he need a work permit?

I might be wrong on this but I think most (if not all) New Caledonians qualify as French citizens so no, he wouldn't. It's also how we were close to signing an U17 player from the same country.

Yep. From wiki

On the other hand, New Caledonia remains an integral part of the French Republic. Inhabitants of New Caledonia are French citizens and carry French passports. They take part in the legislative and presidential French elections. New Caledonia sends two representatives to the French National Assembly and two senators to the French Senate. The representative of the French central state in New Caledonia is the High Commissioner of the Republic (Haut-Commissaire de la République, locally known as "haussaire"), who is the head of civil services, and who sits in the government of the territory.

I agree with this Foxy but on the other hand who did perform consistently throughout? The two games I went to had the typical friendly feel about them, players are getting back into the rhythm of things and Weir admits to working them hard in the heat in with football based training so they have been grafting.

However I do feel based on the fact that he is a trialist that he has done enough to win a short term deal at the very least. He looks very eager to carve a name out for himself in England and I am quite happy for him to do so with United and help get us promoted.

I thought Kayara did well at Morton but was too p1ssed at Cowdenbeath to form an opinion of his performance there. He looked pacy and seemed to want to take on the full back. Promising.
