It always make me wonder if the players really know what extremes some fans go to get to see them play, I notice that Baxter on the SUFC website says we have let the fans down, I wonder if he has just figured this out?. On the last 3 away games I went to, Colchester 2 fans had hitchiked from Sheffield to the game, we took them back to Sheffield on our way home to Northumberland. At Blackpool fans had clubbed together to hire cars to save money and I heard family’s say why did we waste money to see this rubbish, at Bury this week I walked with a guy from the town centre who finished work took a train and his return train back to Sheffield was 11.45. I am sure that there are hundreds of stories of what we fans do to get to away matches. I have thought a lot since the Bury game of the guy what time did he get home, was he safe and must admit felt sorry for fans like this who see such poor performance by the Blades, As fans all we ask is to give it a good F—King go is that too much to ask?. So on Saturday lets really give the fans a performance or I am asking too much?. It would also be good to hear of other stories you know of, that fans did to get to away games.
