Also, honourable mention to the steward trying to quieten everyone down as we were walking to the coaches.

"Can you all be quiet please? People are trying to sleep!"

Haha brilliant. I did wonder what West London made of "Shoreham boys, we are here, shag your women and drink your beer!" Exactly what southern softies are afraid of when they think of the North, I imagine :)

Well done all who made the effort to attend.

How did the tube strike affect matters? Was there time after the game to get a cab back to the train station?

The weather looked grim.

Sounded absolutely superb on TV!

I watched from the comfort of a mates front room who is a Fulham fan - I don't think he appreciated the fact I took leave of all senses when we scored and I celebrated round his living room :D

He's a twat. His MBM coverage of the playoff final was a disgrace. Knew nothing about either team and went on about how bored he was. Arse.

I sat on the bog for 10 minutes at Wembley v Huddersfield reading his MBM. It was a bit more interesting than the match itself.

We ended up getting a cub back from Putney to Kings Cross. £32 between 4 of us, and then get the train home from there. It was pissing it down the entire time.

From King's Cross I got the 214 to Moorgate, then found out that the train to Walthamstow had been replaced by a bus the size of the van the A Team used to drive around in. Still, gave me plenty of time to listen to the theme from The Delta Force over and over.

Steinberg is a massive West Ham fan, you don't need to know anything else.

My little uns loved it, despite getting drenched on the way back to Putney Station.

No 93 bus back to Wimbledon, then home to Sheff. Lovely drive back in a monsoon.

Fantastic support, great atmosphere, love the way the stand goes up and down when the crowd are bouncing.

Deserved the win, love the Cup, now roll on saturday :)

That match was shown on live tv round the world, excellent crowd support people won't soon forget the epic sound coming from those travelling fans.As the comms said all that singing is coming from the South Yorkshire supporters with over 2,000 of them making the trip here.

Yes... very disappointed that the Poznan-style attempt to ruin their stand completely didn't catch on down at the front.

theres no reason for anyone to feel bad for not going.. alot of the support was young care free lads and lasses or old folk that had already done there time.. people have families, jobs etc.. It was a long way to travel.
But for the 2000 or so that were there, including myself, made sure every single Blade's voice was heard!!!

ON TO THE 5TH ROUND!!

First post on here having lurked for a long time. So so proud of each and every Blade who made the trip down. Never thought it was possible to bruise the palm of your hand through continuous clapping but I seem to have managed it. Incredible support as at Villa, and again we got our reward. That goal celebration is up there with the most insane I have ever experienced in 20 years following United. Absolutely incredible.

Pint afterwards with a handful of London Blades (cheers Walthy Blade) Train from Putney to Waterloo, Tube to North Greenwich, two buses to get home.
Rolled in at 1.00am absolutely piss wet through but absolutely buzzin nontheless. I then celebrated with a cheeky bottle of red and overlaid this morning.

What an incredible finish to the game and fantastic evening.
