When we got promoted last time our first signing didn't arrive till the 4th of July or thereabouts. That was Luke Freeman. I think with us more likely to sign free agents this summer, at least one or two, then maybe we'll sign someone before then but I wouldn't expect much business before July I wouldn't imagine. Business is slow this time of year in any pre-season, at least there isn't a Euro's or World Cup as that can slow things down because top clubs want to make sure their players come back fit etc.

Yeah you're right, it's more like a festival than a day then.
It can last weeks, months even.
But, it does peak on the 10th.

I'm not too fussed about the 10th, we need to have 3 signings before the 16th though as I go on holidays then.

15th is a big day or is it the 22nd ? Its Prem fixtures release day,and I read today Luton want to be away for the first three fixtures.
