Sorry if it's old news but, i think i missed something over here in Oz. Where did the 8 million for the Kyles, the 5 million from West Ham, Beatie's 2 million, etc go.
I thought we were in a good state of finance and had money to spend in January. Instead we're selling players and are 43 million in debt. How come the club has to keep the plc and not the other way around?
This is not a dig but genuine queastions.

Nothing to worry about, apparently....

We bought the fucked telly hanging from the office block from Currys. To be fair the telly only cost £900 but the optional extended warranty was an extra £15,000,000

I don't think the club's financial state is anything worry about, we're pretty stable. However, we do need to except that we don't have any significant funds to spend on transfers.

A good deal of it went to cover the overspending and generous contracts of our post-PL season, plus loss of revenues, etc etc. We made a loss of over £6m, even with all kinds of borrowing from McCabes pockets. Now we are both paying back the borrowing, AND making a profit again. The Kyles money won't hit the annual accounts until next year, and the bulk of the West Ham money likewise. The plc is asset rich, much more than the borrowings, but this is long term money tied up in property. In 10 years it will look a really smart move, but you have to be patient and hold your nerve...

18m of the west ham money was accounted for in this years accounts.

I'm in favour of stableising the finances 'IF' it works. But the shear amount of money coming through the doors and vanishing is getting worrying for a simple layman like me.

It's hardly vanishing when you see how the stadium has developed, along with the training ground and look at the wages we have been paying compared with how much we get in on a matchday.

We are still getting back on an even keel after the misadventure with Robson.
