Transfer frenzy or picnic in the park?

Will we see loads of deals, in and out, in the next 48 hours?

I think a few may go out and hopefully one decent signing.

i hope a few come and get rid of the dead wood.

Get rid of the following, either for good or on loan -
Nade, Webber, Leggy, Li Tie, Bennett, and certainly send some of the youngsters out on loan.
In? I think Campo, Stelios, Gravesen and no doubt several others we are bring linked with may well want to come, but at what cost? How much will they want paying? Is it worth it? If we get promoted then yes, but it may just be a case of spending loads on wages in a shit-or-bust attempt.

keep bennet, hes a good backup, better than gerrard.

i want danny murphy. i will be happy then. and a fooooooking center half!

yer a centre half would be fantastic, and some form of creative midfielder, stelios could be a good signing on the right, to keep keith on his toes! i would like to see a few bits of deadwood removed eg horse and prob send webber out on loan for a few months just so the lad can get some form and confidence back.

Required
Centre half- dont know whos out there
Attacking midfielder- and a defensive one to push monty
Campo, Stelios or D. Murphy- would be positive signings

OUT
Legs of wood
Nade- I think he would have done alright but looks like Robson dont rate him
Webber- i think he has run out of time
some youngsters to go out and get league experience

From the Star...

BRYAN ROBSON only wants to recruit players of Premier League calibre before tomorrow night's deadline for new signings.

But the Sheffield United manager, who has made approaches for Bolton Wanderers duo Stelios and Ivan Campo as well as expressing an interest in Wigan's Kevin Kilbane, is adamant that he will not sacrifice quality for quantity if his targets fail to arrive before the transfer window closes at midnight.

Hallam FM news at 6pm said Leigetwood to QPR, and Stead to Wet Spam - both to be signed tomorrow....

I can't see Wet Spam wanting Stead, weren't they supposed to be after Adriano earlier in the week.

With Nade on his way, Horsfield and Webber also possible to go, it must mean that Hulse isn't too far off until his return
