A very very poor man's Darius Vassell. Controls it a long way but runs after it very fast. See Luton SheltonI remember him coming on at half time at Wembley and changing the game.

We're signing Tom Huddlestone? Now I'm excited.I remember him coming on at half time at Wembley and changing the game.

We were by far the better team first half when Huddlestone was on the pitch, we lost control of it when Aluko and Fryatt came on at HT.
Obviously the biggest game changer was the goal just after half time, but Aluko played very well second half.

Some on here kept saying after every goal he scored for Oldham he should be in our side and he's better than Sammon!!!
SURELY he should be in our team... right? Right?!
Don't get me wrong Sammon is gash but at least he can move.
Aluko would be one of the top 5 players in the league automatically. Not happening.
Higdon is a pile.Yes he should. Or at least on the bench to put on when Sammon misses an open net from 3 yards
Think your best off faxing Foxy about that.
Without a doubt. Blackburn have a bit of cash to throw if this Rhodes deal goes through, they'd be my tip.I find that one very hard to believe in our current predicament as well. He would have a number of more attractive suitors surely.
Anyone want to tell me what benefit at all installing the Desso pitch has had to the club?
Could that money have best been redirected into buying two decent centre halfs?

So basically we are waiting for :-
Fulham to sign a CB to release Burn
.
Spending on stadium improvements and on the new pitch doesnt take into account with the FFP rules. Out of our income 60% is the limit when it comes to players wages (not manager's wages) and transfer fees. Investing in the Desso pitch doesnt affect our plans in bringing in new players
I can't its broken.
Higdon is a pile.
Can I be the first person to say....
Fax Machine.
Not sure where the cash came from to invest in the Desso pitch. More likely a loan from a director or whatever. Spending on wages and new signings has to come from the income (gate receipts, transfer fees, sponsorship etc) not from loansSo, you're saying we still have the cash to buy despite installing a state of the art pitch? The £1m+ mooted that it cost doesn't matter, because we have cash to jizz in the transfer market regardless?
Seems to me by the massive influx of top class players that will improve our very poor squad that this might be bollocks.

Unless 3 players are currently having their medicals.Adkins has been spotted taking his seat to watch our U21's in action this afternoon.
