Its rediculous players are allowed to waste time drying the ball so he can throw it further so allowing the the team to pile into the box.
Not making excuses as we were bullied from start to finish
The players ill be using the towel before free kicks and corners next .

Its not in the Laws of the Game that you cannot use a towel. However, it is a League directive that if the home club uses a towel, then it must also be available for the away team. Robinson chose to use his shirt.

You may recall a game a few years ago against Rotherham when they tried to use a towel at the Lane. Because we had not supplied it, the referee did not allow it and made them take it away.

Robinson chose to also use the towel to dry the ball, only to realise that it was a corner. Norwood still spaffed it.

I don't remember that game but back in the PL under Warnock, we played Watford away live on Sky and they (ball boys) were using a towel every time they had a throw in but not for us. Think the referee said something, we went on to win 0-1.

I remember a team at the lane using towels strategically placed around the pitch. What did we do. Ball Boys kept taking them away and hiding them to rousing cheers from us when the player was looking for one and getting angry. When West Brom come to the lane we want more of the same.

We only had enough towels to use in showers after game .we will have t take extra next time(do extra towels come with a free old man or do west brom supply these free)

In the return game I suggest that we hide all the towels and provide the ball boys with a hose pipe to give the ball a good soaking whenever it goes out of play.

To be honest, I don't think Towel was all that special. Workmanlike at best. However, our defence made it look like Messi Towel
