Tough at the top - This weekend

Which is fair enough, but a loss after a run of excellent form (see Hudders) often leads to a severe dip. Wednesday's home form is out of this world and I'd prefer to see them have good stumble to balance our stream of upcoming tricky away fixtures. Not least our trip to S6.
In which up to now they have beat MK (So did we) beat Notts (so did we) and drew with Hudders Fair enough we didnt. But we didnt only get a point off Brentford. Its not out of this world though

Of the teams both United and Wednesday have played at home, they both beat Notts Co, MK Dons, Rochdale and Colchester. They beat Exeter whilst we drew with them. They drew with Huddersfield whilst we lost to them and we beat Brentford whilst they drew with them.

So out of 7 games against teams both have played at home, Wednesday took 17 points and we took 16. As you say, hardly an earth shattering difference,

A Charlton win would be very useful in that it would hurt the pigs home form.

I can see the following though:
Us at Bury - home win
Pigs v Chartlton - home win
Hudders - home win

This may be my natural pessimism seeping through to temper any optimism, but I do think we'll have to settle for the Playoffs; pray to Ganesha that we grab third place and that Jordan Rhodes is sold this January.

Quite lovely to be wrong :D

>But as you say, pigs have more home games coming up
not necessarily a positive thing if the pressure builds up in the run in though :)

If things go our way we could be sat in a very, very good position by 1st Feb...

I'm starting to warm to this Danny Wilson bloke... only a little bit though ;)

But we are Sheffield United, when do things ever go the Blades way!

Enjoy the humble pie Swiss. Either way, the football's a joy to watch right now, wherever the season takes us.

I'll eat the humble pie next season when we're in the Championship :)

However, sounds like the football is a joy to watch, whatever happens things are happening for us now
