Top v Bottom (27th Nov)

Just looked at the table and obviously there's loads of positive noise in that we've played all the decent teams away; Bolton, Scunthorpe, Bradford, Millwall etc.

But.... our record at present is:

against the top 12:
Won - 3
Drawn 5
Lost 3

bottom 12:
Won 8
Drawn 0
Lost 0

Are we up there because we've been convincing against the poorer teams in the league?

The good thing is that of the 'current' top 12, seven still have to come to Bramall Lane. Need it to maintain it's "Fortress" status of old.

Weird though as even though start was bad...we could and should have drawn...maybe even won at Bolton. Stupidity from O'Connell cost us a draw at Millwall. The Southend game was the one that we just fell apart in - take out the first 20 mins of that game and even though some of the early performances were less than convincing; we could easily be sat here with just one defeat.

Them stats don't match up Matt we lost 3 out of our first four since then unbeaten we had a poor start,would we have lost any of them three the way we are playing now ?.Definitely not all three .Early season form can be quite miss leading as it is in our case.
