You silly optimistic foolAs many teams around us will too. Can't see many teams lasting the pace. I think come March time we'll have opened up a gap at the top
They weren't nowhere, but we were 5 points ahead with 2 games in hand, they should have been miles and miles behind...
couldn't you put a good word in for us BTL with your fellow gods??I prefer humous
Tranmere haven't won for 4 games, have won only 2 of their last 9 games and taken only 10 points from those 9 games. In other words, they have the form of a mid table team. They are there for the taking.
Mid-table? a side that avergaed 1.111111111111111111111111111111111 points per game over a 46 game season would be bottom 6 at best wouldn't they in most circumstances?
Correct. It would give you 51 points over a season. Even more reason why we should win.....

Didn't 'people' say Tranmere would establish a twenty point lead? Is it the Trannies way?
As it happens, we now have a great opportunity to get 12 points from the next 4 games as we appear to be playing 4 of the worst form teams in the division - first Tranmere, then away to Crawley (who haven't won in 7 and dropped to mid table), followed by the bottom 2 Scunthorpe and Hartlepool (1 win all season) at home.

I said something similar. Whatever the result on Saturday, XXXXXX will not finish in the top two and will not be promoted. They have done remarkably well but will falter in the second half of the season.
Sheffield United v Tranmere
Barnsley v Sheffield Wednesday
Doncaster v Coventry
Cardiff v Peterborough
If all the teams in bold win next Saturday we'll be top of the league and Wednesday will be bottom.
