Thank you! They are impressive numbers.

My daughter is working near Dusseldorf, and she's been to a few different grounds this season. She says it's an incredible match day experience before, during, after, and incredibly good value. Not just the match ticket but the high quality food & drink available. It's an all day event, more like cricket or horse racing.

Compared to the UK, it's a different sport almost, and she says every game has a better atmosphere as anything she's seen in Sheffield or indeed Sunderland (she went to the 2-1 win the season before last!).
I have lived in south Germany on 4 separate occasions, but most of that time spent in the Munich area.
During that time I went to quite a few games in Bundesliga 1 & 2.
The atmosphere in general was a huge improvement on the English league games. In many of the games the chanting etc is constant throughout the whole 90 minutes.
I took the wife to a few Bayern home games and she loved it, she spent more time watching the crowd than the game.

I went to Berlin in November to watch Hertha play Ulm, the experience was out of this world and quite possibly the best atmosphere I've ever experienced. Would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who has been thinking about it.
The sausage eating Hun might not have a sense of humour but they sure know how to do football.
