The last week shows you can’t stake your house on this but you’d say that Leeds look pretty good based on past encounters. Bristol City might be seen as a dangerous game and then if they need to beat Plymouth and the latter need to win to stay up it could take the story to the final day, but you’d need two unexpected reversals.
Burnley is an interesting one though. They only took 4 points from the non-Blades games. A repeat would advance them to 92. I’m sure Millwall would be willing party poopers too. Point is there are droppable points in the lot. Watford home record is W12D3L6. Not the worst record by any means. QPR’s is W7D8L6. Again, not terrible and they have had spells of good form there.
If the Football Gods could just fuck of for the Easter Weekend and leave us be for once, there is a possibility even slight that we could squeeze in.
But we have to help ourselves, for all the two points talk, we’ve so far given Leeds 6 points and Burnley 3. Even one result our way out of the prior 3 meetings and we’d be top two right now.
I can seriously see one of those other teams taking points of Burnley and it will all come down to whether we can finally show up in a big game.
We’ve just got to find that belief.
