United do have an incredible record in the 2nd tier (Championship level).

We're currently on our 47th season in the 2nd tier
and roughly 66% of the time (2 out of 3 seasons) we've been involved in a promotion battle.

No wonder many of our fans automatically expect us to be up there challenging for promotion
thats because historically that's what we virtually always do. Suspect we might have one of the best records at this level.
