What a poor, poor performance overall.

Until Derby scored never felt they were really doing much either, the game was there for us to take if we could only string a few decent passes or crosses together.

We dithered and dallied, poor deliveries and poor decision making.
We looked rusty and we probably are given our lack of games.

Though Mcgoldrick was the only lively player in attack and he kept giving it away too so it was being cancelled out by himself!

No passing play or patterns and I felt we kept putting the back three under stress far too often which was asking for trouble.

We were sloppy first half but with a kick up the backside we could maybe kick on.
Sharp should have scored first half with the header can't remember any chances 2nd half?

Hopefully good to get it out if our system and give us a wake up call but to say we were underpar today is being kind.

We created nothing all game.

The Sharp header was a bit of a chance but it was a speculative long throw with little chance to get power on it with the defender all over him. Yes, it would have been nice if it squeezed in but is that really all we could muster over 90 minutes?

Until we made Lawrence look like prime Ronaldo there was a lack of quality from either side. Don't miss Robinson's effort on the second either when you watch the replays. First one was partially because Hourihane can't kick with his right foot.

At first I was pissed off at today's result and privately cussing Boro, Hull and the other COVID cowards, QPR but honestly, they did us a favour.

The difference between us doing anything this season will be how many matches Morgan Gibbs-White can play.

So when we all get hot under the collar about the postponements, just remember what we look like when he doesn't play.
