Fuck me. Theres no stream. Its not on any tv channel anywhere in the world. Thats because ONLY sky have tv rights to this cup. Therefore of sky dont have it on, then there will be no stream. This means that you will waste your time looking for a stream. Because theres NO STREAM. I wonder if anyone will ask in here after this post ? Probably so, because having a firestick or sutv may mean they can find the NO STREAM. I think i made my point thats there NO STREAM. So probably don’t need to mention it again thats theres NO STREAM

So are you saying there is no stream? Or are you saying no matter how hard I look there is no stream? Or are you saying if I ask enough people there will still be no stream? Some clarity is definitely required. I am only asking because people need an answer

Isn’t it more that the hosting club has refused to allow international broadcast or streaming?
Same goes for ‘boro on Sunday.

The TV rights are sold by the owners of the competition, not the clubs. The club doesn't get a choice in who gets to broadcast what, the rights for the Carabao cup are sold by the EFL, in the UK the rights are sold to Sky with the terms that they show 2 games per round, plus both legs of each semi-final and the final.

Sky are allowed to choose which 2 games from each round they show.

The clubs don't get a say in which games are shown where.

Edit: I believe there's an option for clubs using iFollow to choose to not make their home games available in the UK, which Middlesbrough have chosen to do, hence our game on Sunday only being available outside the UK.

That is being streamed via SUTV. So if you have something resembling a stick that you could buy from amazon that has been programmed with certain things, you'll be able to watch it.

But the WBA game tonight simply isn't on.

Hold a competition that most fans aren't overly enthused about and matches that will be sparsely attended.

Then establish a punitive rule that prevents fans from seeing said games live, just to piss them off a bit more.

See, I have little interest in the League Cup, so I won't buy a ticket and travel to the arsehole of England on a Thursday evening for this fixture.....but I might have been willing to part with a fiver for a bit of live football as there's nothing else to watch.
I suspect quite a few fall into this bracket.

If more people are watching the stream the stream gets shared out between everyone who's watching so the picture quality gets worse. We're telling everyone there's no stream so we can watch in HD without sharing.
