Still only 29. Not so sure about the wages issue though - would have thought he'd be on a fortune and won't want too drop too far off it. But hell of a good player/good character.

Would hope we're looking into the situation.

Hopefully we're having a serious look at this guy too.

He'll be on big wages and that's a certainty. He was a fan's favourite at Brighton and on decent money then, so there is no way he'll be on similar wages with Villa. Absolute non-starter.
