I think he'd fit in Nick. Peck or Hamer could easily go this January, but more likely in the summer. Think Hamer will go back to Coventry and Peck to a lower placed Prem team.

In his brief cameo this afternoon, he swung his foot at and completely missed a shot from almost exactly the same place.

I actually felt a bit sorry for him. Not saying it wasn't a red, but on another day he is a millisecond quicker than Gus and is the one getting clattered as neither were backing out. It can be good fun watching a former Blade flop when they come back with another team, but Tommy seems like a top lad and if rumours are to be believed really wanted to come back with McAtee and was very close to doing so before it all fell through.

I agree, I think it was a fantastic hustle from Gus that turned an honest attempt to win the ball into a very bad tackle.

Very good Championship player but not athletic enough to make it at the top level. On massive wages for his 'Championship ability' and when all are fully fit he wouldn't get in the team ahead of any of Jairo, Blaster or Peck. Even if we lost one of them I think we can do better forthe wages he would demand.

Fair comments when put like that. I agree he would only be useful for Championship. Peck could well be going anyway. Still think he has a lot to offer for most Championship squads.

Totally agree re a lot to offer but its the price u have to pay. Be interesting to see if West Ham or Brentford come in for Peck. If they do it will be a case of extracting maximum value because as a Londoner hes bound to want to move.

But I will always thank him for the job he did when called upon and that goal in the fa cup was sensational.
