Makes Davies look like an ever present

No e in Osborn
Fleck was superb but age and fitness is catching up with him.
Fleck better than Davies, 3 years ago, yes - still would be if fit.
Osborn is a utility player and a filler - Shouldn't start if we have sufficient quality in the positions he fills.
Why are you asking? Do you see Davies being more than Osborn 2.0 or Osborn 1.75?
Davies is the alcoholic version of Osborn fruit drink,if we're lucky

I think that's a little unfair on him. There were a decent number of us who really wanted this signing once we know he was available on a free.
It makes so much sense, and the only negatives I have are because I can't have a direct conversation with him which obviously Hecky can and has.
That's fair, I possibly misjudged as I have quite a few friends who are Toffee's and he wan't well liked.

That was a really good signing video idea I thought until they gave him spray paint to use with the fucking template

Dyche would not promise more time In a shit Everton team where the lad cannot make a dent in the first XI
Tells you the levels we are at.
Nothing about grandeur at all - the stats tell their story and the eye test offers a high degree of confidence that this lad is not going to make a significant contribution other than keeping the U21 subs company.
their 2 resident midfielders are Doucoure & Onana
They paid £20m for Doucoure in 2020, and he scored the goal that kept them up last season
Onana is currently been looked at by ManU for £60m+

Not been able to dislodge these 2 doenst make him a bad player
non of our current midfield, including Berge who's gone for £15m would either

Hes a lad who played EPL football from been 16, never kicked a ball outside the top division, amassing over 150 appearances, which is more EPL experience that Norwood (70) & Fleck (61) put together

least let him a couple of shit games before writing him of FFS

This!

I can’t believe some of the comments on here, if you’re reading this Tom, ignore them.

This could be a great signing, he seems to want to play and not fester in someone’s reserves hence him rejecting the Everton contract.

Welcome to another new Blade!

Reading Roy's views on Everton fans they really are vile bunch no wonder he didn't want to mention them and referred to them as his previous club.

Can't stand Everton and their dickhead fans.

I wonder which forum that was from? On one I lurk on, they are pretty fond of him. Raved about him at certain points.

Hamer played LCM a number of times for Coventry last season (according to the lineups on SoccerWay). In fact, look at his heat map from last season, looks like he can play absolutely anywhere!

Also, I can't see any chance of us signing O'Brien until the last day of the transfer window. No way would Forest help strengthen a relegation rival until the last possible second
Forest might actually want to do something with the money for him though

Yea other comments I've seen suggest it's more to do with FFP that they need to get rid, not cos they need the money but so they can actually spend the money they have without getting into trouble. I definitely expect him to go, and if we're the only ones interested there's a good chance it's to us. I just think they'd prefer it not to be us!

id be pleased with tom davies, capped at all england levels but senior, plenty of PL experience 19 games premier league games, seems motivation is still there. as he couldve stayed Everton if he wanted to, but it was his decision to turn down the contract & we need bodies in. if he finds his form we got a great player
Exactly 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

that makes sense :)

Am I being greedy again wishing for Doyle, O'Brien archer, an ATM, a LWB and a cover centre back ???
Yes I know we've only got 25 spots but we must have taken fleck off with his injury
Does anyone have the list ????

I know we need players but it's a bit ridiculous that we're signing up homeless people from outside the ground, fucking hell

Yeah I see Davies as better than the pair of them.

To me Flecks been gone for 2/3 years, and Osborn shouldn't be near the league to be fair.

We need depth alongside starters, we still need to perform when starters go off on 60 mins, or when they need a rest.

So if we've just brought a player in, who is 25 and played in 150 PL games even in a depth role, I don't see how that's anything other than positive for us.
