Does anyone actually know what his injury is ? He's James Wallace MK2 always injured without any explanation to what his injuries are.

Watford away last season … wow that lad ran himself into the ground and carried us along with Peck to 3 points when we were thread bare.

If he’d been fit for the Boro game it would’ve been an absolutely ideal game for him over Blaster with his mobility and tenacity. I don’t think we’d have lost the midfield battle in that first half.

Such a shame he’s never ever fit.

Great player on his day but should probably just retire for his own good

He is at a crossroads because beyond ourselves who will offer him a deal that isn't just one year and weighted in a clubs favour.

He is only ever fit enough for a dozen games a season and many of those are as a sub.

Probably not in the Premier League, but there will always be a club in the Championship willing to take a punt. Just look at Rhian Brewster.

I believe his ongoing injury problems are down to a failure of character, as is the case with all long term or chronic football injuries.

Not saying he won't offers at this level but the offers won't be as good since there is no solid guarantee he will play more than a handful of game.

Davies signed for us in August 2023.

2023/24: three substitute appearances in September followed by a 3 month, 15 match injury lay off. Back for 6 matches (4 sub, 2 starts in both of which he was withdrawn at half time) before a hamstring injury saw him miss the final 10 matches

2024/25: the hamstring injury picked up at the end of the previous season kept him out for the first 15 matches. Three sub appearances followed by a run of 6 starts in 7 over Christmas and New Year was a false dawn as two injuries saw him miss four and then 11 matches with a three match spell on the bench in between (2 apps). Came back as a sub in the final match of the season and then all three play off games (a total of 53 minutes over the four).

2024/25: a calf issue kept him out of the first 7 matches. Made one sub appearance and one start before a recurrence saw him miss the next four. Three sub appearances (there's a trend!) followed before another 10-match layoff. Two matches as an unused sub were followed by starts against Ipswich (63 mins) and Millwall (45 mins) before injury struck again. He's missed the three subsequent matches and is unlikely to feature before Easter.

2023/24: 3 in, 15 out, 6 in, 10 out
2024/25: 15 out, 12 in, 4 out, 3 in, 11 out, 4 in
2025/26: 7 out, 2 in, 4 out, 3 in, 10 out, 4 in, 3 (and counting) out

He would get injured doing the Hokey Cokey!

No doubt it's frustrating for us fans, but it's not his fault he's never fit. I'm sure it frustrates him that he can't go a month without picking up some sort of injury. Seems a sound lad off the pitch, and wish him all the best when he inevitably goes in the summer.
