Does anybody know why we took off a centreforward, brought on a left back, played him on the left wing and then took the left back off shortly afterwards?

Presumably because DW wanted Hoskins more central to work with Ched and had no other way of getting a replacement wide player on. Flynn would have been the obvious change, had he been on the bench. I'd have replaced Hill with Williams anyway, I thought Hill was poor for the whole second half.

And of course Quinn was permanently on the right, which made things much too easy for the Tranmere defence. They knew he wouldn't go down the line, which put a lot of reliance on Lowton to get down the flank. Can we go back to 7 subs, please?
