Holding up well despite dire predictions from some quarters.

(I wasn't there but I assume Plymouth wouldn't have brought many).

Super crowd that. It was bring a mate for a tenner day today. Plymouth brought approx 2 to 300. Surprisingly quiet after we went 3 up. started getting noisier when plymouth scored their 2 goals.

yep, a good attendance. Plymouth didn't bring many but to be fair to them I thought they brought as many as teams such as Preston - given the distance that should rather shame Preston somewhat.

I vdon't think we'll see a significant dropoff until we are out of the hopes for the playoffs (unlikely this season I believe) or until next season.

I genuinely thought we were starting to get there at home after 45 minutes today and after Bristol but the second half shows we still have some way to go yet. I certainly believe any ticket price increases will see a lower number of season tickets sold and given the performances I wouldn't be surprised.

We aren't likely to fall drastically until the start of next season after selling so many season tickets this year.

Although we triumphed in the end Blackwell has to learn how to either add to a lead or protect one.
We have to get some confidence punish teams and shake off this fear of losing!

And maybe not even then, if we carry on getting the sort of entertainment & enjoyment we have had in the last 2 home matches. I have to use home games as a yardstick because I no longer go away, but the last two have been great.

I really like that midfield 4, its very mobile, they are passing to each other, it seems to be the first choice quartet & is getting settled, goals are coming from it. and it has changed our style of play.

I thought Camara & Creswell looked a good pairing up front. We are 2 quality full backs (Naysmith & Walker, basically) & a keeper (Kenny) short of having a decent starting 11.

What was it? category c game, mate for a tenner, kids for a quid?

Today was a super-draw game as well. My workmate's son got a freebie with his school as well. It was his first game today - welcome the emotional rollercoaster that is being a Blade.

If he didn't enjoy today, he's not going to be a football fan, what a great first match to go to!:D

Best of luck to him, UTB.

Yes, being Indian, he'll probably need it, what with some of the knuckle-draggers you get at football. It wasn't a bad game to pick as a first one. It's funny how it works out that a first game can be a really memorable one. Mine was the league cup win over Liverpool in 78. My son's was the 3-2 against Hull in the promotion season. What a game that was! We even had 4 seasons of weather in 90 minutes that day.
