At 71 - waiting for NHS to sort my knees out means I struggle to walk any distance at moment - so I gave up my season ticket ( my first game 1957, first season ticket 1963, apart from 2 years in late 1970's had a ST for all that time)

The home match in the 81 - 82 season was the first game I remember, so I'm claiming it as my first, although my dad tells me he took me to loads before that one

Went to the 4-0 Watney cup game with a mate in his dads Austin 1100 it could only take 3 people as it had no floor behind the drivers seat. Missed the next one at London Road as Maggie had put me on the dole in 81 for 18months.

Promotion was sealed when we won a Tuesday evening fixture against Rochdale 3-1 and then when Peterborough lost at Hereford the following evening, which means that on the day that promotion was secured we didn't actually play.

A copper trapped my foot in the perimeter gate, so thought f*** yer i'll go over the fence instead. Got to the top only for the same copper to be gleefully waiting to nick me once I'd landed on the otherside.

OK, fair enough dibble, I'll stay kop side of the fence, you've kept one of us off the pitch, what about the other hundreds that have got on.
