From 2nd down, there is nothing to fear in this league. Despite all the hoo-ha about the great football everyone else plays, you know what? They don't. There isn't a really 'good' side amongst them. There are ten or twelve teams who can go six unbeaten then six without a win. The league title is Newcastles to lose, but every other place is up for grabs.

Have faith and all will be well. Trust in the word of Dunc...

The other thing to consider is that Forest looked poor mid week too, having doled out several thrashing thus far. It might well be that we're becoming hard to play against once more!

Agreed and to be honest Dunc I wasn't that impressed with Newcastles performance at the lane, its a shame our team didn't play like we did today against them (don't get me wrong we weren't overly poor that game but I think if we played like that against them they would have left BDTBL with what they should have that day sweet F all)..... ah what will be will be.

Agree with that. As ever, this is a division that needs a team to 'take it by the scruff of the neck', like Reading used to. Little to fear amongst a most inconsistent bunch (bit like the PL, actually!)

You've got to fancy Newcastle, especially as they will get every decision going at St. James's. A lot of football still to play and I'd fancy us to catch WBA more than I would Wendy to catch us.

However, I just can't see it being us this season. There's just 'something' missing. Hope I'm wrong...

And don't forget, we're losing a number of players very, very soon.

I'm still trying to recover from the shock of seeing us play pretty well in all areas, and looking like an attacking threat. And playing some decent football.

My only complaint was bringing Stewart on to kill off a side that offered little attacking threat throughout the game. I wish we'd just look to take them apart, because they never looked like getting anything.

I really hope we carry this momentum into the QPR game and go with 4-4-2. They've not been playing well and we're getting more confidence, let's go looking for the win.
